Discussion: According to Benny, the Board of trustees determines the minimum English qualifications for an A. A. Degree.
Vicky Oddino added that if English 28 is the requirement then it should be taught with the mindset that it will prepare students for an A. A. degree rather than prepare them for English 101.
For evaluation: Include competencies for writing, reading and technology.

Discussion: According to McFerran, Title 5 determines appropriateness and Curriculum Committee uses Title 5 guideline for General Education. The committee will add a recommendation to make a plan to evaluate General Education courses using the course outlines and Title 5.
