Standard Three meeting

Minutes

Present: Mike Reynolds, David Jordan, Mark Pracher, Roman Juarez, John Cantley, John Orosco, David Pardess, John Morales, Maury Pearl

The committee read and discussed the final descriptive summary. The full committee approved the language as submitted. The committee then began to consider the self evaluation.

Each subsection of the standard was considered in turn as a question to be answered and as an ideal to measure our efforts against. There was a prolonged discussion of the current concern with institutional outcomes and the need for them to be measurable.

The committee decided to assign the same subcommittees to the self evaluation effort who had written the descriptive summaries. 

A -assigned to Jordan, Morales, and Orozco. 

B -assigned to Reynolds and Pardess. 

C -assigned to Pracher, Castro, and Pearl. 

Mike asked that the committees prepare a rough daft and submit it to him before April 11.

The committee agreed to meet again on April 13 in room 4.
