PRESENT: Manny Cosentino, Margie Long, John Cantley, Roman Juarez

The committee reviewed the following subsections:

C.2 Oddino. Need criteria for evaluation of GE. Add arts to rationale--possible language, "include, but not limited to vusual communication." Approved with modifications.

C.3 McFerran. Why isn't fine arts in District or catalogue rationale? Needs work: first paragraph inappropriate.

C.4 Oddino. Approved.

D.1 ______. Need description of the curriculum committee. Need explanation of new E65 and the DCC role, if any. Chancellor's Office Curriculum Handbook? Is there a curriculum handbook for LAMC?

D.2 Scott. Approved.

D.3 Scott. Not complete. In evaluation talk about need for criteria for evaluation of grade on course outlines.

D.4 Scott. What are the policies? Articulation process? 2+2+2? Pass along policy?

D.5 McFerran. Need more discussion of alternative delivery methods.

D.6 McFerran. Process needed for non-credit. What about curriculum development--who starts process etc? How are community service offerings approved? Is there an audit of community services? Who checks on non credit at the Business and Professional Center? Entrepreneurial training center? Non credit ESL?

D.7 McFerran. What about ITV? 3^rd paragraph is evaluative language. Is computer proficiency needed as pre-requisite to online courses? Discuss TMI committee. Issues are access and support.
