The committee reviewed work submitted:

6.1 Newman Polk Need to include new building description and effects. Approved.

6.2 Newman Polk Wilhite Smazenka Levine Need discussion on lack of faculty input into the selection of computer hardware. Need something on current decentralized purchase of video, audio visual equipment and supplies. Cause may be funding sources. Levine assigned audio visual descriptive summary. Standard subsection should include discussion of new email system, faculty computing. Need discussion on a lack of centralized authority to oversee technology. Possible use of accreditation as a lever to create such a position. Smazenka's evaluation discussed.

6.3 Garza Not submitted.

6.4 Smazenka Need CSS staff from John Beck. See 6.2 for language.

6.5 Thomsen Cantley Add budget figures to narrative. Discussion of national standards--District and WASC do not accept. But with decentralization, local campus can.

6.6 Thomsen Need something on access and usage of resource guides etc.

6.7 Thomsen Newman Does CSS go through an evaluation? Need to evaluate and plan this.
