Present: Shari Borchetta, Phoebe Rivera, Connie Reyes, Andres Guerrero, Paula Riggs, Maury Pearl, Gerald Scheib, Yolanda Ramil, Maria Fenyes, Roman Juarez, John Cantley

Shari Borchetta presented discussed the results of the January 6 workshop and commented on the reactions of District officials about the accreditation process. The results of the workshop can also be accessed at the accreditation website. She stated that Jeanette Gordon would be available to answer questions. Contact her through Shari or John Cantley.

John Cantley revisited the matrix and explained the purpose of accreditation, as well as the current status of the accreditation process.

The committee agreed that more meetings of the matrix committee were needed to complete that work. It was agreed to set up a teleconference with the other two colleges next week in the late afternoon. This would be done in order to present the district a complete set of questions common to the three colleges.

Maury Pearl presented an in-progress sample survey, which can also be accessed at the accreditation website. John Cantley advised team members to contact Maury for questions and ideas that could eventually be incorporated into one complete survey for the standard. It was predicted that the survey would be administered by the end of March and the result would be accessible in April for writing the evaluation part of the self-study

Individual subcommittees have been meeting to work on the narrative descriptions. Louie, Phoebe and Paul have met as have Julie, Andres and Connie. Gerry and Alex have plans to meet. Maria and Shari made plans to begin their work.

Georgia Estrada was assigned to Sections A.2 and C.4.

It was agreed to meet on Thursday January 27 at 2:30 in room 4.
