A meeting was held to discuss the Steering Committee attendance at the "Self Study Workshop for Colleges with 200-2001 Comprehensive Evaluation Visits" being held by the Accreditation Commission for Community and Junior Colleges.
Discussion focused on what changes to the Standards might be presented, and it was suggested that we all note these and bring back as much information as possible to help clarify what these are. A meeting was scheduled for Friday morning at 9:00am in the Vice President's office for a debriefing of information gathered at this workshop and actions to be taken on suggestions given. Benny Scott has another commitment and will not be able to attend Friday's debriefing. We now have a Wed Page set up specifically for our Accreditation Process. The Accreditation Steering Committee has posted the three manuals published by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges to this web site.

We have a link that gives the names of the co-chairs and members for each Standard posted too. It was decided we would post all information about the accreditation process so our entire college community will have access to this at all times. It was suggested that team leaders meet with Daniel and Margie to get information on how to start their Standard Committee jump-started. It was agreed that the minutes for every meeting of the Steering Committee will be posted to our web page.
