COURSE OBJECTIVE:
    To provide the student with a realistic account of what managers do and what they face in applying theory and practice of management and organization.
ASSIGNED READING/PROBLEMS:
Read chapters: 1-6, 7-13, 14-19, and 21.
Specific chapters are assigned before each class session.
COURSE PLAN: (Subject to modifications)
Required of each class associate:
    Access the Internet for any relevant or related business information to the chapter topics; and regular attendance (ENTIRE CLASS SESSION) with preparation for class discussions based upon assigned readings. If you are absent for more than nine hours of class time, you will be excluded from the class.
Class session will include:
    Lecture/class discussions and students participation directed by instructor emphasizing major consideration pertaining to assigned readings.
Project assignment and class presentation (individual or team)
PERFORMANCE EVALUATION:
Exams (three) during regular semester
Final examination (covering selected topical areas)
Project assignment presentation
Internet assignments (plus or minus 10 points)

Note: You neither take exams nor turn in Internet assignments after the scheduled class date.
CLASS-WIDE INCENTIVES:
90% of class associates start and complete the 15 week course (10 points)
80% of class associates with an overall course letter grade "C" or better (10 points)
