CA Career Cafe
-- Major exploration, getting experience in field of interest, overcoming obstacles to finding a great career.

California Career Zone
-- A new way to explore exciting jobs and occupations that California has to offer and to learn about what career path interests you.

-- Eureka provides information on college majors, descriptions of occupations, resume information and much more. You will need to register on-line to use this site. The LAMC Site ID Code is N1ROUEO.

-- A tool for career exploration, detailed descriptions of the world of work and job analysis.
Brain Track -- Career Guide helps visitors evaluate career options and find schools through its extensive resources. The guide offers data on hundreds of careers that typically require higher education and features links to original profile pages for thousands of schools.

California Career Planning Guide
-- Provides career development information for California students, educators, job, and career seekers, along with other resources such as California Career Zone, Reality Check, Career Planning Guide, and Real Game California to help people of all ages plan for their futures.

Career Clues
-- Hosts 16 short, engaging opportunities designed to help students gather and interpret important information about themselves and what they want from their lives. Filled with tools, strategies, and practical suggestions and punctuated with motivating video clips, Career Clues calls on students to explore meaningful career options. Each Clue prompts students to take the next action step as they seek “how to” answers about finding their career direction, identifying their college major, developing meaningful work experiences, and landing a really cool job.

Explore over 185 degree fields and find out about education requirements, salaries, networking, pre-college ideas, and career planning resources. Career Project
-- The Career Project is an interactive career profile database that allows students and job seekers a personal and uncensored look into thousands of real careers and jobs through the eyes of the people who work them.

Employment Guide
-- Features articles on how to make career decisions, and how to prepare for an interview.  It also lists job fairs and has a salary calculator.

Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH)
-- The Occupational Outlook Handbook is a nationally recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future work lives. Revised every two years, the Handbook describes what workers do on the job, working conditions, the training and education needed, earnings, and expected job prospects in a wide range of occupations.

Khake Careers
-- This site focuses on careers not requiring a degree, making existing career and technical on-line resources easier to find.  It provides links to sample lesson plans for many vocations, such as welding and animal science, career and technical education resources, technical school locators, and job market resources.

West Coast Careers
-- This is an excellent site for self-discovery and mapping out a career journey with links to skills, interests, and learning styles.
