  • Counseling Office

The counseling office provides assistance with school and career goals for students. All students are strongly urged to make an appointment with a counselor prior to registering for classes for the purpose of arranging a study program . Counselors can assist students with college transfer requirements, career planning, and personal concerns. To schedule a day or evening appointment, contact the Counseling Office at the phone number below.

Some of the resources you will find on this website are:

  • A listing of our Counselors and how to contact them for assistance.
  • A section on Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), students tend to ask counselors.
  • Information on how students can apply and register for classes online using the LACCD website.
  • Some links to resources on the web that we find useful for students, including scholarship information and an online financial aid application.
  • Information on Graduation Requirements (Plans A and B) and Transfer Requirements (CSU-GE and IGETC)
  • A link to the website of The Transfer Center - a resource full of information for students beginning their college education here at Mission, then planning to transfer to a four-year university.
  • A link to the website of The Assessment Center - where students receive placements for English and Math courses.
