Orientation
Introduction
Online Orientation is recommended for all new non-exempt (see Matriculation Exemptions) students. The purpose of the Online Orientation is to present important information about the college programs, requirements, services, campus resources, academic expectations and institutional procedures.
Online Orientation helps you to better understand the college catalog and schedule of classes which are necessary in planning a course of study and educational goals. It is both necessary and important to have the school catalog and course schedule on hand during the online orientation. Online Orientations are available year round
New students who have never enrolled in classes at any college must complete an Orientation in order to meet with a Counselor.
The Orientation may be completed at the Assessment Center or online from any computer at www.lamission.edu/orientation
In order to verify completion of the Orientation, please bring a printed receipt when you visit the Counseling Office.
