The Culinary Arts Institute @ Los Angeles Mission College’s Food Service Management/Culinary Arts program offers classroom instruction from industry professionals along with practical, hands on experience to ensure optimal skill enhancement.
With various Certificates/Degrees programs available in Hotel Management, Restaurant and Food Service Management and Culinary Arts, the Culinary Arts Institute is a great choice for those new to the industry or seasoned veterans wanting to stay on top of current trends. With the addition of general education courses, our Associate in Arts Degrees prepare students for entry-level management positions, as well as fulfill many academic transfer requirements to four-year institutions such as Cal Poly-Pomona, CSU-Long Beach, CSU-Northridge, New England Culinary Institute and the Culinary Institute of America. The students at the Culinary Arts Institute benefit from theoretical studies combined with hands on experience with our internship program, externship partners and campus foodservice operations, including fine dining service, on campus and off campus catering.
With the addition of our new Culinary Arts Institute Building, our 80,000 square foot food production labs, executive fine dining room, demonstration lab that just opened, the Culinary Arts Institute is quickly becoming the most exciting place to get a great an excellent Culinary Arts education.
