Instructor Alberto Gudiño

Alberto C. Gudiño is a United States Probation Officer employed by the United States District Court for the Central District of California. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State University, Northridge. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles. While at Southwestern, he was a member of the prestigious Moot Court Honors Program and also served as a Board Member of the Moot Court Honors Program.

Mr. Gudiño is an attorney licensed to practice law in the State of California and in the United States District Court. Before becoming a Federal Probation Officer, Mr. Gudiño was an associate attorney for the law firm of Wallin & Klarich. Mr. Gudiño primarily handled felony and misdemeanor criminal cases. At the United States Probation Office, Mr. Gudiño belongs to the presentence investigation unit which is responsible for the preparation of presentence reports for the federal judges. These reports involve extensive legal and factual analysis of federal sentencing law and ultimate sentence recommendations for each defendant.
