Instructor Kevin Koch
Kevin Koch realized early on (as a then young adult) that
advanced education was going to be an important key to success and
advancement in his life. While working full time, he graduated from
High School and attended Los Angeles City College where he graduated
with an Associate in Arts degree in Banking and Finance. He then
completed his B.A undergraduate degree in Liberal Arts at the Weekend
College Program at Mount St. Mary's College in Brentwood.
Kevin realized that in today's job market a B.A. degree is only
marginally competitive, and continued his educatoin, earning a
joint Masters of Business Administration (with a concentration in
Executive Management) and a Juris Doctorate (Law Degree) from
University of La Verne.
He is currently employed as a VP Treasurer for a mid tier construction
material manufacturer. He enjoys a progressive and challenging career
in Finance which has included employment with a broad number of
Companies including industry leading large public and private
Corporations such as Nestle USA and The Walt Disney Company to smaller
privately or closely held companies in a variety of industries
including manufacturing, distribution, entertainment, banking and
Consumer Goods. These experiences have given him substantial exposure
to all aspects of Business and Finance including Treasury and Cash
Management, Human Resources, Logistics, Accounting, Information
Technology, Management and of course Legal matters. An area of
expertise he has developed over the years is Credit & Collections
where he has earned multiple distinctive certifications. His
teaching experience includes Corporate seminars on Financial Statement
Analysis and Microsoft Office Suite programs like Word, Excel and
Powerpoint and currently is one of our excellent law faculty at
Mission College instructing for the Paralegal Program.
Kevin is very pleased to have the opportunity to work with our
paralegals. His goal is to facilitate our students' learning experience
in a directed and disciplined manner that leverages a mutual
committment to the process of enriiching ones life through spirited
interaction and discussion of the subject materials. Kevin is
fully aware and empathetic to the unique needs and challenges of our
students. He personally knows the sacrifices and hardships of Adult
Students and he wants our students to know that they are not "alone".
Kevin will stand with our students and help them get "through it".
