Los Angeles Valley College offers an Associate of Science degree
in Registered Nursing. The program is approved by the California
Board of Registered Nursing to prepare candidates for the
National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN).
In addition, the National League of Nursing accredits the
program.

The Pierce College Nursing AA Program is designed for the
student who desires to complete the Nursing Program at Pierce
and take the State Licensing Examination to become a Registered
Nurse. The Registered Nurse Program is accredited by the Board
of Registered Nursing and National League of Nursing.

The two-year Registered Nursing program at College of the
Canyons is accredited by the State Board of Registered Nurses
and the National League of Nursing. It is designed to prepare
the student for the responsibilities and knowledge required of
the entry-level nurse. The purposes of the program are to
qualify the graduate to receive a certificate of completion, an
Associate of Science degree (with a nursing major) and to take
the national licensure examination to become a registered nurse.

Los
Angeles County College of Nursing and Allied Health
The R.N. program at LA County / USC Medical Center results in an
A.A. degree. The tuition for the program is about $4,800 for the
two years, however, financial aid is available for those who
qualify.
