Fashion Show
February 15, 2006
The Black Students Union at Mission College held its second annual
fashion show on February 15, highlighting African American History
Month. Students modeled fashions provided by JWisdom of Northridge
and United Threads of San Fernando. The "unity day event"
also featured Aztec dancing, raffles, and a performance by members
of Hip Hop Heads Unite, a new Mission College student club. BSU
leaders Jason Randle and Rebecca Soriano organized the event. The
Robotics Club and MECHA provided support. The BSU thanks the following
students for volunteering to model: Lizette Cardenas, Kiwana Collins,
Gilda Cattouse, Anabel Diaz, Carlos Hernandez, Mayra Hernandez,
Cesar Miranda, Ilicena Peña, Tomas Sanchez, Daniel Randle,
Victor Randle, Esteban Rodriguez, Tenika Smith, and Natalia Washington. |
