Nearly 400 guests attended the Springfest Food and Wine Festival at Mission College on April 22. The event helped raise thousands of dollars in scholarship funds for students. Guests were treated to a spectacular array of foods, all part of the culinary theme of American Regional Cuisine. The gourmet’s delight was prepared by the college’s award-winning Culinary Arts Institute. Festival goers also had an opportunity to sample a wide variety of fine wines. Hundreds of dollars in prizes were raffled off, including a $450 pot of cash from the popular “50-50” raffle, won this year by Blossom Uyeda (at left in last photo below). The Mission College Foundation thanks all sponsors, donors and guest who made the day such a huge success!
