The Mission College Associated Student Organization held its annual Welcome Days on September 12-13 to give new students information about campus clubs and organizations. This year, the event also served to raise funds for victims of Hurricane Katrina. ASO, the Political Science Club, Studies in the Word, Specially Funded Programs, MECHA, the Black Students Union, and the BioMed Club staffed information tables. Proceeds from a dunk tank and the sale of Cajun style food will go to survivors of the hurricane. Mission College thanks the following bands for participating: Playhat, Effigy, Deltoids, Tremellow, Dyinghour, Johnny's Gone Mad, and El Van Goghs.
