Gallery to Feature Works by Diane Hiscox

The Art Gallery will host an opening reception on Saturday for two new exhibits featuring the work of painter Diane Hiscox.

Home: Everyone is Someone consists of small-format paintings, depicting figures which are immediately identifiable as people (and sometimes their dogs) who live on sidewalks. Although circumstances determine that these people are often subject to the public gaze, there is reference made (in the suggestion of wallpaper, and in the figures' assemblage of belongings) to the notion of home.

Curated by Professor Thomas Folland, PhD, the exhibit will continue through March 10. The reception takes place on Saturday, February 10 from 4-7 p.m. in the Art Gallery. For more information, contact Professor Folland.
