photo 9 - Intro to Cameras and Composition (digital)

An introductory course in the uses of professional digital SLR cameras. Camera controls, elements of
composition, and photographing with natural and basic studio lighting will be stressed. A basic overview
of Art and Commercial photographic processes will be examined.
Professional digital cameras may be provided by the department for student usage.
Owning a digital camera is not a requirement but is highly recommended. $10 print fee

photo 47 - Intro to Digital Photography (explore Photoshop for photographers)

An introductory course in digital SLR camera controls, elements of composition, photographing with
natural light and digital image processing. Students will explore color correction using levels, curves
and masks to make image adjustmenst using Adobe Photoshop. The course stresses Art and Commercial photographic processes and building image sequences for a cohesive body of work. Students will use
online resources to display work.
Professional digital cameras may be provided by the department for student usage. Owning a
digital camera is not a requirement but is highly recommended.
$10 print fee
