A dynamic, hands-on museum for people of all ages interested in learning more about racism and prejudice in America, and the history of the Holocaust.

Run by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, the Museum of Tolerance is not just a dusty homage to history. The museum is an active research center keeping track of hate groups and crimes in America and, despite the heavy subject matter, the museum has a comprehensive, age-appropriate educational program for children, and encourages discussion and debate on prejudice in a surprisingly interactive way. Arguably the most powerful element of the museum's programming are the regularly scheduled testimonials given by Holocaust survivors (Sundays–Thursdays 1pm, 2pm and 3pm, with an additional testimony at 4pm on Sundays). It doesn't get more real than that.
