LACCD Black Graduation at First African Methodist Church of LA
The Los Angeles Community College District African American Outreach Initiative (LACCD AAOI) welcomes all graduates and their families, faculty, and staff professionals to the 13th Annual Black Graduation Celebration.
The Black Graduation Celebration is simply a cultural celebration honoring students. This culminating moment symbolizes the triumph of our educational journey, bringing our families, ancestors, and village of supporters with us to celebrate earning that college certificate or degree, a feat not afforded to the many that came before us due to segregation, racism, and injustice.
