Trio Student Services

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) Program is a federally funded program designed to identify and provide resources to help students persist through college. We provide supportive services, including tutoring, mentoring, one-on-one counseling, study skills workshops, and cultural activities.
To qualify, students must meet one of the following requirements: 

1. Are you Eligible?

  • First-generation college student (neither parent has a bachelor's degree)

or

or

  • A student with a disability (DSPS)

2. Complete TRiO Intake.

When the application is submitted a staff member will schedule you for an appointment to complete the TRiO intake packet which includes Program Expectations, Participant Responsibility Contract, Release of Information form and Academic Needs form.

3. Schedule an appointment with our TRiO counselor.

Once you've completed the Intake packet, you will then be admitted to TRiO and be scheduled for your first counseling appointment.

Service Area Outcomes (SAO)

SAO 1

TRiO (SSS) participants served will meet the performance level required to stay in good academic standing.

SAO 2

TRiO (SSS) participants will persist from one academic year to the beginning of the next academic year or earn an associate degree or certificate- and/or transfer from a 2-year to a 4-year institution.
