The Office of Academic Affairs

The Office of Academic Affairs is responsible for the instructional aspects of the college, which includes all academic departments and programs. It works with faculty and staff to oversee all aspects of students' educations, from scheduling classes and hiring new instructors, to maintaining and developing our degree and certificate programs and providing training for teachers. The Office oversees academic classes as well as noncredit and ESL programs.

Our goal is to develop the finest instructional programs and teaching practices at LAMC to help students meet their goals as quickly and easily as possible, whether they want to transfer, earn a degree, or improve their job or life skills. The administrators and support staff in our office are always happy to assist students who have questions or are facing difficulties.
