Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) Life Sciences Professor Chander Arora Recognized by SoCal Biomedical Council
LAMC Life Sciences Professor Chander Arora, Ph.D., was selected as a top nominee for the 2021 Southern California Biomedical Council Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education. The award is made in recognition of Dr. Arora’s lifelong contribution to biotech education, talent nurturing, and workforce development efforts in support of biotech /MedTech industries in California and the Greater Los Angeles Region. Dr. Arora helped fuel the success of the biotechnology program at LAMC. She served as the coordinator of the Amgen Biotechnology Experience at LAMC and positioned many students for industry careers and helped meet the entry-level technician needs of local companies.
