In honor of Juneteenth, join us on Zoom this Monday for a special screening of the Project 1619 episode "Music", followed by a discussion moderated by LAMC Professor Christopher Williams, Ed.D. This episode of the landmark series celebrates the uncapturable spirit of Black music and maintains that Black music IS American Music.
