Wellness Workshop – Stress Management Skills

August is Mental Health Awareness Month.
Join Health and Kinesiology Faculty member Tracy Harkins today to help us kickoff our August Wellness Workshop Series. These workshops are hosted on Zoom and are designed to support your mental and physical well-being in college and beyond.
Wellness Workshop Series:
- Stress Management Skills – Thursday, August 3, 12:30–1 pm
- Strategies for Sleep, Mindfulness, and Meditation – Thursday, August 10, 12:30–1 pm
- Mood-Boosting Behaviors – Thursday, August 17, 12:30–1 pm

Join a Student Support Group
Pressure and stress related to school, relationships, family, and decisions about the future can often create tension in our lives. We now offer small support groups to teach you skills and strategies to address these challenges.
Join a support group and learn new ways to:
- Manage Stress & Maintain Well-Being
- React to Conflict
- Improve Self-Esteem & Personal Development
- Practice Positive Parenting
These support groups are free and open to current students. Sessions will take place on Wednesdays from 5–6 pm in the Instructional Building, Room 1004, or on Zoom.
