Spring Equinox Celebration

Celebrate the Spring Equinox with MEChA!

During an equinox, the sun shines directly on Earth's equator resulting in equal amounts of daylight and darkness. Pre-Hispanic societies, such as the Aztecs and Mayans placed emphasis on this special date to celebrate renewal, rebirth, and the end of winter. 

MEChA club invites you to celebrate this unique phenomenon at the quad on Thursday, March 21st! Enjoy live entertainment, delicious food, and a variety of outdoor market vendors!
