Summer Research Internship Application Deadline

Summer Research Internship Opportunity

This summer, our STEM department is conducting a summer research project and is looking for potential interns! Participants in the Summer Research and Internship program will gain firsthand experience working with faculty at participating institutions including UCLA, CSUN, and USC!

To be eligible to apply you must be: 

• Currently enrolled at Los Angeles Mission College as your primary college 
• Planning to transfer to a university in a STEM major 
• Completed at least 2 STEM courses
• Willing to make full-time commitment for Summer 2024
• Willing to enroll in Biotech 8: Biological Research Internship (2 units) during the summer

Applications are due April 12, 2024 at 5 pm and require the following materials: 

• A Completed Internship Application
• Personal Statement
• Resume
• Letter of Reference — Please have your references fill out the Summer Research Reference Form on your behalf
• Unofficial transcripts from ALL colleges and universities attended
