Chicanexus Art Exhibit

EXTENDED TO FEBRUARY!

The Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) Arts, Media & Performance (AMP) Art Gallery and the LAMC Museum Studies Program will host Chicanexus, an exhibition featuring the work of master printers Sonia Romero and Ernesto Yerena.

Romero and Yerena are Chicanx masters of contemporary printmaking, bringing decades of exploration and expression through their chosen medium. Throughout their extensive careers, their work reflects the dynamic and evolving cultural landscape of Los Angeles and is united by a deep passion for print as both a process and a medium.

The curatorial group features students from LAMC’s Art 519 class, led by Professor Erika Hirugami, MA, MAAB.
