Engineering Students Connect with Industry Professionals at Fall Information Events

During the 2022 engineering information events, students had the opportunity to mingle with engineering faculty who are industry professionals in various engineering fields.

City of Los Angeles hiring personnel were on hand to provide details about drafting and land surveying technician positions within the City of Los Angeles.

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) land surveying crew gave attendees the opportunity to participate in a hands-on demonstration by taking measurements using land surveying equipment.

Students who joined the events also had the opportunity to learn about related careers, openings, internships, and, most importantly, connect with potential employers!  

Engineering Career Event industry and recruitment participants included LADWP Land Surveying Division , City of Los Angeles Human Resources, Build LACCD, LAMC Career Center, Network Kinection, LLC, and Lockheed Martin.
