Open Educational Resources

Open Educational Resources (OERs) offer faculty a flexible, accessible way to enrich their courses with high-quality, customizable materials that reduce costs for students. By integrating OERs, faculty can adapt content to better align with course objectives, encourage diverse perspectives, and foster an inclusive learning environment—all while supporting students' equitable access to learning resources.

Accessibility

The Los Angeles Mission College Library is committed to providing equitable access to library and information services for all members of our student body.

For additional services and accommodations, contact the DSPS Office (Disabled Students Programs and Services) located on the first floor of the Student Services and Administration Building, Room 119.

All publicly available computers on the top floor of the library and on the main floor of the LRC (Learning Resource Center) have the following software installed:

Job Access With Speech (JAWS)

JAWS will read the text on a computer screen to a student.

ZoomText

ZoomText allows students to magnify the text on computer screens and adjust other display features, such as color.

The Library has many electronic resources available and accessible in multiple formats.

If you cannot fully access any library resources, please contact us by email at library@lamission.edu or by phone at (818) 364-7105 to schedule an appointment with a librarian.

Please include:
