CHIRLA can assist students with the $495 DACA fee for those who are community college students in California. In addition, there is funding for individuals who live in the city of Los Angeles. If your are interested, please sign up for our services and inquire when speaking to the CHIRLA staff member.
CHIRLA Student Legal Services is launching a new service with our partner schools called CHIRLA Representative of the Day. If students, faculty, and staff would like general information, clarifications, case updates, or resources, students may log into the zoom link and have these matters answered by an attorney or a CHIRLA accredited representative. Students, faculty, and staff can also refer their immediate family members (parents, siblings, and spouses), friends and neighbors to log into the zoom link for quick consultations. This service will be available to all students every Friday from 10:30AM. - 12:30PM.
Please join their virtual counter.
If students are unable to attend any of our virtual legal clinics or want to have their immigration matters discussed in an individual setting, students may sign up for a scheduled virtual legal consultation to speak with an attorney or CHIRLA-accredited representative. They may either sign up through the partner school’s website or visit our through Find My Ally. You must select the school that they attend.
We have in person consultations every second Tuesday of the month at the Dream Resource Center.
