Step 1 - NEW Students ONLY

Complete the Online Application

Video Tutorial and Step-by-Step Application Guide available.
Be sure to write down your confirmation number. You should receive an email with your Student ID within 5-7 business days from “@email”.

Please Note: If you are currently taking a class (returning student) at Los Angeles Mission College, your application is still valid for the next term and you do not need to reapply.

Step 2 - ALL Students (not parents)

Complete the (K-12) Dynamic Form* - STUDENTS ONLY

First time submitting the Dual Enrollment Approval (K-12) Dynamic Form? Please watch the Video Tutorial and Step-by-Step Guide to help you through creating your username and password as well as completing the form.

You must have your College Student ID number, your parent's email address, your HS Counselor's name and email, the class(es) you wish to enroll in, and username and password (If this is your first time using a Dynamic Form, you will need to create an account).

*PARENTS & COUNSELORS: You will be required to create an account to sign the K12 Dynamic Form. The link is different for parents and Counselors. Please watch the Video Tutorial for Parents or the Video Tutorial for HS Partners to guide you through the process.

Follow up with your HS Counselor to confirm all paperwork was processed.

Step 3

Log into your Student Portal (Video Tutorial).

This is where you will have access to your Student Records, Email and Canvas.

Taking a class offered through your HS?
If you are enrolling in a class that is being offered by your HS, then the LAMC Dual Enrollment Program will work with your HS to get you enrolled.

Taking a class on your own?
If you are taking a class on your own, once your K12 Dynamic Form is signed and processed, you will be able to sign up for the class(es) requested through your Student Portal.

Step 4

Log into Canvas (Video Tutorial)

Canvas is accessible via the Student Portal (see "Step 3") or directly, as detailed in this step.

Please Note: Your class will not be visible in Canvas until you are officially enrolled in the class AND the instructor has made it available for students (usually within a week of classes starting).
