Student Health Insurance Plan

Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC) international students are insured through the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) mandated policy offered by LewerMark. 

The Student Health Insurance Plan provides medical coverage in case of accidents and/or illness. The cost for a 6-month period of coverage is US $743. Costs are subject to change.

Students will be automatically billed for health insurance upon enrollment every Fall and Spring semester, payable to the college. There are no waivers for the LACCD insurance policy (LACCD Board Rule 2309.30). Regardless if you have another form of health insurance, you will still be required to purchase the college-issued medical insurance.

Once enrollment is verified by the the LACCD, an international student can obtain their insurance member ID card.
