Homestay (Host Family Program and Placement):

Homestay allows international students to live with local families, providing international students the opportunity to learn about American culture. There are various private companies that help students arrange a living agreement with a host American family. These companies help students find housing depending on their preference and location of study. As well, host family often provides meals and may provide students with private bedroom. Each company has their own rules regarding fees and living options. Please note that LAMC does not monitor or administer these programs.
